Our family-business history goes back to 1951, when Habib Fares Madi, an innovative entrepreneur and successful businessman launched his first office in Saifi, Beirut. His business was the product of his creative abilities and hard work following his experience in Tools and Hardware field international trade. In an environment avid for the services of brilliant business minded people, he positioned his company as the link between local and regional traders on one side and the European as well as Japanese suppliers on the other

As the second generation took over, Fares and Joseph Madi, took the company’s services to the next level by importing goods on their own account and servicing the local retailers. The fruit of their effort and their investment in new offices and warehouses in the region of Quarantina, Beirut did not take much time to ripe. They rapidly became pivotal in the market of hand tools and hardware and respected wholesalers. They expanded their supplier portfolio and began to source material from the USA.

Passing the torch to the third generation, Habib and Mazen, the company runs from the heart of Beirut as it was for the last two decades but has point of sales in most of the Shopping Malls of the country. The long lasting outstanding relation with customers and suppliers still unfolds. All Fares Madi and co. team is striving to reach the market’s demand and exceed them.

In an effort to cover more market niches, the activities of the company are being relentlessly expanded to a wide range of Handy Tools, Hardware, Adhesive, Sanitary and Electrical Accessories (Plugs, Sockets,…). Global material sourcing is implemented and the suppliers range from Far East, to South Africa in addition to Europe.
Apart from having our own field sales force covering all the Lebanese territory, many Display Stands in Lebanon’s prestigious malls and well-known supermarkets were set up in a shop-in-shop format.
All these years the company’s Vision was unaltered: to satisfy our customers through our professional services and quality goods as well as competitive prices. Our mission is to keep our good reputation, gained by the founder and his descendants.
